Spring in Belgium means gardens, good company, and delicious food. This Belgian BBQ recipe brings together beer-marinated ribs, artisanal sausages, grilled potatoes, and fresh salad — the perfect menu for sunny days and outdoor meals.


Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 Belgian sausages (white or mettwurst style)

  • 4 pork ribs

  • 2 chicken filets marinated in mustard and honey

  • 500 g baby potatoes

  • Homemade mayo or Belgian andalouse sauce

  • Fresh seasonal salad (lettuce, radish, red onion)

  • Rustic bread or baguette

For the rib marinade:

  • 250 ml Belgian beer (amber or dubbel)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 minced garlic clove

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Marinate ribs at least 3 hours (preferably overnight).

  2. Boil potatoes 10–15 min, then grill with oil and rosemary.

  3. Grill meats until golden and juicy.

  4. Serve with salad, bread, and Belgian mayo.
